Grid 40RBP00 (aircraft location at GUARDCALL)

A U.S. Air Force A1C assigned to the 50th Attack Squadron reported two UAP events over the Persian Gulf on 24 October 2023 during an ISR mission supporting NAVCENT under Operation Spartan Shield. The first UAP, acquired at 0241Z, showed a cold thermal signature, was assessed as solid and benign, and had an estimated velocity of 320 MPH; a second UAP was acquired at 0322Z near grid 39RXK68 with an estimated velocity of 440 MPH. Neither event resulted in observer engagement or effects on persons, and the intel gap was recorded as not filled. The report was declassified on 12 September 2025 by MG Richard A.
